Emerson College “The Commons”

In May of 2019, Lake Contracting completed a 13,000-sf. interior renovation of a five-story vacant building, a new multi-purpose student facility for Emerson College. This buildout offers a variety of spaces for students to utilize, including conference rooms, pod spaces, community lounges, and a spiritual life center. This project features intricate designs throughout the space that required careful attention to detail, including a rope wall banquette, as well as, suspended tape thin light fixtures each coordinated at a precise angle. Lake had a pleasure working with Elkus Manfredi Architects and Emerson College to create this new energizing space for students.
