Lake Contracting VPs Honored on MDA Labor Day Telethon Featured on WCVB-TV 5

September 3, 2006

On Sunday, September 3, 2006, Lake Contracting Inc. Vice Presidents Jonathan Lake and Urshula Patel were honored for the company's community involvement and charitable work with the Greater Boston chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) during the MDA's 41st Annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.

Appearing on the "call center" set on Boston WCVB Channel 5, an ABC affiliate, Jonathan and Urshula were on hand to assist with the fundraising efforts and to receive accolades for the company's role as a "Hall of Fame" contributor. "We are proud to help our community and support the important work of the Muscular Dystrophy Association," Jonathan said.

This year's Telethon raised over $61 million for the MDA's research and service programs to benefit people with neuromuscular diseases.

Lake Contracting, Inc. is deeply involved in Boston-area community service, and is a strong believer in the mission of the MDA. In 2006, Lake Contracting was again a top sponsor of the Greater Boston MDA's Muscle Team fundraiser. The Muscle Team event, held at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in January, featured a host of marquee-name professional athletes from New England sports teams.

Community involvement is a direct reflection of the spirit of teamwork that Lake Contracting values highly in its day-to-day interactions. CEO and President Dana Lake has made such contributions to the community a cornerstone of the Lake Contracting working philosophy.
