Lake Contracting Joins Outward Bound in Honoring Mayor Thomas M. Menino

At the 4th annual Evening Expedition Benefit Gala, Lake Contracting and other sponsors joined with Thompson Island Outward Bound in honoring Mayor Thomas M. Menino for his strong commitment to the youth of Boston. Mayor Menino has repeatedly demonstrated this commitment through his untiring efforts to improve education and recreation citywide, providing much needed community resources to young adults.

Each year Thompson Island Outward Bound honors a leader whose work reflects the organization's mission: to provide youth with experiences that transform their lives—encouraging personal growth, leadership skills, self-confidence, and appreciation for their community.
