Lake Contracting worked for long time client Equity Office to create the new Amenities Center at 100 Summer Street. Lake along with IA Architects and WB Engineers worked closely with Equity to make sure that their vision for this space was met.
The new space includes many state-of-the-art updates. There is a café area where a Barista prepares specialty drinks in the morning for the tenants of the building and a custom “beer and wine tap” area which tenants can help themselves to in the evening. To support the beer and wine tap, Lake installed a custom cooler that allows for proper cooling. The new Amenity space features a conference room that can be turned into two meeting rooms with the use of a Modernfold partition, and can also be turned into a large open area when the custom Renlita doors are open. This new space also includes several game areas, gathering spaces, as well as, a gym with showers and lockers, that can be used throughout the day as an escape from their offices. The new space also features several custom millwork pieces throughout, including a ceiling feature that extends from the entry of the space to the back of the space. All lighting and wiring in the space was completed in a manner where the wiring is minimally visible, providing a clean appearance.
